Ann is an accredited NCA painting supervisor with a NITA grade 3 certification. She has 8 years of experience in Life skills training to vulnerable youth undertaking construction trades in Nairobi, Meru and Mombasa counties.She also has experience as Site HR assistance and Site supervision. Her strongest qualities are communication and adherence to project parameters.

Anthony is a great enthusiast in the construction industry. He has a craft certificate in carpentry and joinery from Thika Technical Training Institute and a certificate in technical training from Kenya Technical Trainers College, with over 25 years of experience in technical training, construction, furniture production and repair and maintenance.

He has extensive experience in sustainable project development, Contract management, Capacity building, and implementation of green technology systems. He has a passion and interest for human rights advocacy, child support and aid to the elderly in society. A member of Helpage international.

Esther has over 15 years’ experience in community development, program management and peace building in cross-functional projects and technical teams within non-governmental organizations, communities and the county governments of Kenya, working with community development and women’s empowerment programs.

She has built a verifiable professional record with completion of large projects through coordinating trades, developing partnerships, and building positive rapport with architects, engineers, local officials, suppliers, and clients while maintaining costs.

Joyce is a Design Specialist with a background in Interior Design and Counseling Psychology. She has over 7 years of exemplary experience in flat paint and textured finishes. She has extensive experience working with various stakeholders in the construction industry, including contractors, developers, youth and women. Joyce finds fulfillment in raising the status of youth and women through education and skills training to help make a decent living.

Philomena has a growing experience working with organizations supporting women, youth and children in informal settlements. She also has a Diploma in Graphics and Web Design and doubles up as Buildher’s in-house graphics designer.

Biwott is adept in Human-Centred Design and Program Management with 6+ years of experience in Program Designing, Implementation, Result-Based Monitoring(RBM), and Donor stewardship. He has extensive knowledge and experience in Social Behaviour Change, Livelihood, Health, Security, and Entrepreneurship Programs targeting Adolescents, Youth, and Women.

Kimani is an experienced community organizer with over 19 years of experience in community engagement, research, and development. He is the Executive Director of Slum Dwellers International - Kenya. Kimani has a Masters in Community Economic Development and has worked extensively with Civil Society Organizations in civic and political rights, peace building, economic development, governance and community organization.

Robyn has worked in the built environment, community development, women and youth empowerment, human and civil rights arenas in Kenya and the US for 30 years. She is an urban planner who works to incorporate economic development, spatial planning, policy advocacy, participatory methods, leadership development and strategic planning as the basis of her work.
