Community projects give trainees the opportunity to complete their first construction remodeling, or restoration project in one of the organization’s beneficiary communities. The projects help in raising the visibility of women’s construction skills and capacities (at the community level), as well as promote their ownership and confidence in their newly acquired skills, all while cultivating a giving back culture in which trainees give back and participate in community development activities. The initiatives also enable trainees to meet with potential clients while providing recruitment opportunities for buildher by allowing women in the surrounding area to see the impact of the training program firsthand.

A secondary goal of the project plan is to strengthen communities by providing beautiful, dignified surroundings and amenities that benefit low-income communities.
